More than 35 people gathered at the Northern Virginia labor office on Monday, March 23, to participate in a 90-minute Common Sense Economics workshop conducted by the AFL-CIO. Houses are destroyed after a series of tornadoes hit portions of Oklahoma Wednesday. Communities stretching from Tulsa to south of Oklahoma City were in the paths of the storms. One person was reportedly killed.
