Styrolution closes Springfield Plant

Sadly, Styrolution announced in March 2014 that it was shutting down its Springfield plant in three phases with the final layoffs occurring at the end of the year. The union conducted impact bargaining to minimize the effects on the plant closing. This closing affected approximately 30 of our Brothers and Sisters. Some have taken positions within Styrolution between two plants in Texas and Illinois. As always we will be available to assist our displaced members in any way.
